CityLife Life Groups: Esther's Birthday 2008

once again we tried, but failed to give Esther a surprise. :( We were punctual and waited patiently at the lift areas on the 37th floor, in hopes of surprising her as she comes out from her unit. But after many minutes of waiting, we grew impatient, so I gave Esther a call and found out she had left the apartments, waiting at the ice-cream store where rach and I were "supposed" to meet her at. But I thought, how could that be? We were waiting in the lobby 30 minutes before the appointment, YC saw Esther walking into her apartment, the only possible chance was that as we took the lift up to her floor that she came down using one of the other lifts at the same time. So we called esther again, asked her to come back to the apartments, and gave her a surprise at the lobby. We planned to have dinner at Esther's place so we went up to her place after the surprise. As I walked into the lifts, I gazed on the button Esther pressed.. and things started to make sense. It was more than just a dramatical coincidence.. surprise, surprise! 34th floor. ; \

When esther first told me about the game, I thought she said "sabo车" which sounded like a potentially lame asian game. But after one round of playing, I understood why it was her favourite game.. its fun!!! and oh, its Saboteur.
